Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cuptur dal
  2. 1tomato chopped
  3. 1 tspginger paste
  4. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  5. 1 tspcumin seed
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. To tastesalt and sugar
  8. As neededoil

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil the daal and keep aside

  2. 2

    Now heat oil and temper cumin seeds,green chillies and bay leaf.

  3. 3

    Add ginger paste and saute well

  4. 4

    Add tomato and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  5. 5

    Add boiled dal simmer adding sugar

  6. 6

    Serve it with rice
