Ingredients

3 1/2 cups
  • 1/2 cupbutter, softened
  • 1 (16 ounce)package powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 4-5 tablespoonsbuttermilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy

  2. 2

    IncrGradually add powdered sugar, beating at low speed until blended.

  3. 3

    Slowly beat in vanilla and 4 tablespoons buttermilk.

  4. 4

    Increase speed to medium, and beat until smooth. If desired, beat in remaining 1 tablespoon buttermilk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
