Steps

Wash,peel and cut the turnips into pieces

Then boiled and mashed well

Heat oil in a non-stick pan and Jeera. when it sprinkles,add hing, garlic, green chillies and onion.Saute till light brown.

Add ginger paste,roast till raw smell goes off.Then add red pepper &, coriander Saute well.

Now add tomatoes. mix well and cook until they get soft.

Add turnips and salt. mix well,cover with lid and cook for five minutes.

Now add garam masala and lemon juice (optional) mix well.Add half of the coriander leaves and cook for two minutes.Shalgam ka bharta is ready..
