Ingredients

15 mins
4 bowls
  1. 1/2 cupwashed and soaked rice for 2 hrs
  2. 1/2 cupmoong chilka daal soaked for 2 hrs
  3. salt
  4. 1 pinchhing
  5. 1/4 spoonturmeric
  6. 1/2 spoonjeera
  7. 2 tspdesighee

Steps

15 mins
  1. 1

    Heatup cooker add ghee and let jeera crackle

  2. 2

    Add hing then saute vegetables cut into small chunks

  3. 3

    Add daal,rice salt and turmeric and 3 cups water

  4. 4

    Simmer the gas after whistle comes and let it cook for 10 mins

  5. 5

    After opening the lid mix the khichdi with karchi so that it gets little mashed up

  6. 6

    Topple with desi ghee and enjoy with papad dahi chutney and atchar
