Khichdi is a very healthy and nutritious one pot meal which takes very little time to cook. Made with rice,daal and vegetables of your choice does not require spices as if served with papad ,dahi chutney and achar tastes yummy. I always cook it in thin consistency and topple it with desi ghee

Heatup cooker add ghee and let jeera crackle

Add hing then saute vegetables cut into small chunks

Add daal,rice salt and turmeric and 3 cups water

Simmer the gas after whistle comes and let it cook for 10 mins

After opening the lid mix the khichdi with karchi so that it gets little mashed up

Topple with desi ghee and enjoy with papad dahi chutney and atchar
