  • 50 gramsFlour
  • 3medium potatoes
  • 1 teaspoonBaking Powder
  • 2 tablespoonoil
  • 1egg
  • 150 mlmilk
  • 1 knobbutter

  1. 1

    Start by peeling the skin from the potatoes.

  2. 2

    Half of the potatoes need to be boiled until cooked for 8-10 minutes then mashed.

  3. 3

    The other half need to be grated. Wash to clear the starch. Then use a towel to dry as best you can.

  4. 4

    Pour out 120 ml of milk, the rest is for the potatoes. Mix in the egg.

  5. 5

    In a bowl Mix the grated potato with the flour and also the baking powder.

  6. 6

    Next add the milk/egg mixture and mashed potato then mix until all the ingredients have binded.

  7. 7

    Have a large frying pan with a lid ready on medium heat, add butter and oil. Next add around 3 tablespoons of the mixture to make a round shape now, now with the lid on leave for around 4-5 minutes until you see small bubbles on the top, now flip them over and give a couple more minutes.

    Serve with plenty of butter and great to have with a breakfast with eggs and bacon.

Are those cakes really only eten at breakfast? I can imagine them with a dollop of jam as afternoon snack! Or with a ganache or with butter and sugar. Posebilliity's are endless. Excuse me if there are mistakes in my writing. English is not my speaking language. That's Dutch.
But these cakes look delicious to me. Great idea.. Keep UP the good work. 👍🏻🍘🍽👌🏻🍀😉🔆👋🏻
