Weigh, measure and assemble all ingredients together

Separate the egg white from yolks and whisk the whites till they double in sixe

Add sugar n continue beating the size will double

Add the egg yolks and the essence beat until everything is well incorpoated

Fold in flour mixed with cocoa gently to avoid deflating the mixture

Pour in a greased baking tin

N bake at 180 for 40-50 mins

Once the cake is cooked divide into two halves n soak with wine

Put frosting on the bottom part then place the other half on top and wet then cover with frosting n pipe as you desire
