Ingredients

  • 12-16bread edges(leftover from cut bread slices)
  • For spinach- besan batter..(I have use leftover batter)
  • 1 cupspinach leaves paste
  • 1/2 cupbesan
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcummin seeds
  • to tasteSalt
  • Oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash, chopped, spinach leaves and grind in mixer jar to make smooth paste.(If needed add 1-2 tbsp water). In mixing bowl add besan, spinach paste, turmeric powder, cummin seeds and salt...mix together to make semi thick batter.

    Dip leftover bread edges in spinach- besan batter,drop in hot oil,deep fry on medium flame till golden brown in colour.

    Relish/ serve Spinach Sticks with hot tea/coffee.
