Ingredients

  1. 2radish grated
  2. 2 tbspgrated coconut
  3. 1 tbspgreen peas
  4. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  7. 1/4 tspginger paste
  8. 1bay leaf
  9. To tastesalt and sugar
  10. 1-2green chilli chopped
  11. 3-4urad dal bori or lentil dumplings
  12. 2 tbspmustard oil
  13. 1/4 tspcumin
  14. 1dry red chilli
  15. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  16. 1 tbspchopped coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate the radish and smear some salt.Heat oil in a wok and fry the dal bori.Set aside.Sprinkle jeera and when it splutters, add the grated radish. Toss and add grated coconut,all the dry masalas,bay leaf,chopped green chilli,peas and dal bori.Sprinkle just little water to soften the bori.Add sugar,salt and garam masala. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with rice,roti or paratha.
