Ingredients

  • 1 bowlboiled tur dal
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1dry red chilli
  • 1 cupflour
  • 1 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

  2. 2

    Add the ginger paste and saute well

  3. 3

    Add all the powder masalas saute well

  4. 4

    Add the dal and boil

  5. 5

    Knead a dough with flour salt and divide it into small cubes

  6. 6

    Add this into the boiling dal simmer till it is soft

  7. 7

    Add sugar and mix well
