Ingredients

  • Steak---------------------------
  • To tastekosher salt
  • 4 tablespoonsbutter
  • 2-1/2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
  • To tasteground black pepper
  • 4 poundsbottom round steak
  • Gooseberry Sauce-------------------
  • 1 cupgooseberry steak sauce see my recipe
  • Classic-----------------------------
  • 1/2 poundwhite mushrooms
  • 1/2large white onion
  • 2/3 stickbutter
  • 1/2 teaspoonseasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the mushrooms and onions. Melt the butter in a skillet.

    Saute for 10 minutes till tender.

    Melt the butter in the olive oil in a skillet. Season the steak pan fry till your desired doneness.

    Serve with the gooseberry sauce and the classic mushrooms and onions.
