Mash: Peel and cut the potatoes and squash. Boil them in plenty of salted water. Once fully cooked, drain, add butter and a splash of heavy cream, and mash until smooth with no lumps. Set aside.

Filling: Chop the onions, bell pepper, and green onions. Sauté them in olive oil and butter. Once the onions are translucent, add the ground beef and season to taste.

Once the filling is ready, add the chopped hard-boiled eggs and olives. You can also add raisins if you like.

Assembly: In an oven-safe dish, spread half of the mashed mixture. Add the filling on top. Layer mozzarella cheese over the filling. Cover with the remaining mash and, if desired, add more cheese on top. Bake until the cheese is melted. Serve.

NOTE: I added a beaten egg to the mash to make it more compact.
