Steps

Peel,cut and cook yam until it's very soft.Mash cooked yam until it's smooth.

Pour 1 cooking vegetable oil in a frying pan, heat on medium heat.Add half of the onions, add chill pepper.Fry for 5 minutes while stirring continuously.

Season with thyme,seasoning cubes and salt.

In a large bowl,combine fried mixture,remaining onions and mashed yam Add eggs and mix well.Make sure the texture of the mixture is not too soft or hard.

Sprinkle flour on a chopping board or any clean tray.Scoop yam mixture,roll onto board to form balls.

Heat remaining oil on deep frying yam balls until it turns golden brown in colour.

Place fried yam balls on a plate /bowl lined with paper towel to drain excess oil.

Enjoy the yam balls hot with a sauce of your choice.😝
