  1. 2 1/4 cupsuncooked rice
  2. 2split chicken breasts
  3. 1 cancream of chicken soup
  4. 1 cancream of potato soup
  5. 1 cancream of shrimp soup
  6. 1 tablespooncreole seasoning

  1. 1

    Cover chicken in pot with water and boil 45 minutes. After chicken is cooked, peel and shred chicken.

  2. 2

    In water the chicken was boiled in place the 2 1/4 cups uncooked rice in water and boil and cook for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    When rice is done cooking, mix chicken, cream of chicken, cream of potato, and cream of shrimp soup. Cook together and heat through for about 5 minutes. Add creole seasoning and serve.

I am from Natchitoches, Louisiana. So yes I do cook southern Louisiana food very well. My family is from Mamou, Louisiana so I think I’ve got the southern touch running through my blood. I do all the cooking in my house and I try my best to post the recipes that I believe are worth your while. I cook with more of a semi-homemade and easy and possible feel to it.
