Ingredients

  1. 1 BunchSarson Saag
  2. 1 BunchPalak
  3. 1 BunchBathua
  4. 1Radish
  5. 2Tomatoes
  6. 2Onions
  7. 2 InchesGinger
  8. 2Green Chillies
  9. 6Garlic cloves
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. to tastered chilli powder
  12. For tempering:
  13. 2 tablespoonGhee
  14. 1 teaspoonCumin Seeds
  15. 1Onion(finely chopped)

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and roughly chop sarson ka saag, palak, bathua and radish.

  2. 2

    In a pressure cooker add saag, palak, bathua, radish, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and chillies. Add about a cup of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Allow to cool.

  3. 3

    In a mixer blend the cooked saag to a paste.

  4. 4

    In a pan heat ghee, add mustard seeds and onion cook till light brown, add in the saag, add and red chilli powder, simmer for about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Top with little ghee and serve with makke ki roti and jaggery.
