Xirino me selino avgolemono!! In english, pork and celery. Also a traditional greek dish served in winter! It's full of vitamins and a most healthy and tasty plate!

Put pieces of meat in pot. Cut onion into pieces add oil, salt and pepper and cook and turn meat and onions to until they get a little gold colour.

Put in tomato puree and water to reach just below meat to half cover it. Cook meat slowly till tender. Put in some water if needed till meat is tender! Take pieces out of pot and put aside.

Wash celery very well and cut into pieces, but not too thick! Put celery into liquid of the meat and cook till soft, but not over cooked so it ends up mashed!! By this time, there won't be a lot of sauce from the meat left.

Make avgolemono: Beat eggs with egg beater, squeeze lemon juice and and add corn flour. Stir in some of sauce from food and beat all together.

Place meat on top of celery in the pot. Pour the avgolemono sauce on top of food, shake pot for it to go all around!! Sprinkle black fresh ground pepper and serve!! ENJOY with some red wine!!
