Being a culinary youth instructor for dozens of kids AND, being married to something named, "The Tammie," [i swear she's literally worse than any of my kids] my microwave usually presents itself akin to a bloody crime scene. Anyway, here's a super easy way to clean your microwave!
Cooking Instructions

Put water and lemon juice into a microwavable pyrex glass. Dash a little on the base of microwave.

Pour a slight amount of lemon juice on the rotating glass plate.
- 3
Heat fluid for 4 minutes and then let microwave sweat for 1 minute closed. Gently wipe down microwave and viola! You've got a clean, deliciously lemon scented microwave! Little to no effort! Take that Tammie!

It's too much trouble for me to rub the vegetables with salt and wait hours until they are ready, so I just used the microwave.I make this with a mixture of rice vinegar and apple vinegar. Try it with whatever vinegar you'd like.The vegetables cook in the microwave, so there's no need to rub them with salt first.It will keep for a while if you make sure that the vegetables stay soaked in the liquid. Either way, it's definitely an easy, inexpensive comfort food the whole family will appreciate! You can even throw this simple dish in a crock pot for 4 hours on high or 6 to 8 on medium. -
