Lauki rings.Thin slices of lauki( bottle gourd)dip in besan & rice flours batter and deep fried. Crispy, delicious lauki rings can be relish as appetizers or evening snack,with hot tea or coffee.
Steps

Take tender lauki (bottle gourd /dhudhi).Peel and wash in water. With slicer,make thin slices.

Remove / core out the inner seed part..so rings are formed.

In mixing bowl add & mix besan,rice flour,salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida,carom seeds, black pepper powder, coriander seeds powder,eno salt. Add enough water to make smooth pakoras batter. Dip each prepared lauki rings in prepared batter.

Drop one by one lauki rings in hot oil. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame till golden brown in colour.

Serve / Relish Hot Lauki Rings with tomato ketchup.
