Ingredients

  1. Salt to taste
  2. 3 1/2 ozpeanuts (about 100 grams)
  3. 4curly red chilies
  4. 2bird's eye chilies
  5. 2kaffir lime leaves
  6. 1.4 ozpalm sugar, shaved (about 40 grams)
  7. 2 clovesgarlic
  8. 3/4 cupwater (200 ml)

Cooking Instructions

    Fry the peanuts.

    When they are half-cooked, add the garlic, bird's eye chilies, and curly red chilies. Fry until the peanuts are fully cooked.

    Grind or blend the peanuts with the chilies and garlic.

    Sauté with a little oil and add the kaffir lime leaves. Cook until it looks dry and the oil is absorbed.

    Add water, palm sugar, and salt. Adjust the taste to your liking.

    Cook until the water slightly reduces and the oil separates.
