Leave cream cheese out to become room temperature.

Dice green onions

Mix cream cheese with diced green onions and onion powder (to your taste) in large mixing bowl

Beat egg in small mixing bowl

Separate wonton wrappers. Put a scoop of cream cheese mix in middle of wrapper.

Take a finger and dip in egg mixture. On sides of wrappers, moisten with egg mixture.

Fold up sides to meet in the middle. Make sure there are no openings where the cream cheese can come out of.

Heat oil until nice and hot.

Drop in wontons and let dry in sizzling oil for about 45 seconds to one minute (or until nice and golden brown). Pull from oil. Let sit for a minute and enjoy!
