This was just a trial recipe that I felt I should do.

Make even omena balls and refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hr

Mince your omena in a mortar and pestle together with salt, 2 cloves of garlic, black pepper and salt as shown. I am not sure if a blender will work.

In a large bowl place you minced omena, egg, turmeric, breadcrumbs, salt and mixed to create a dough.

Heat oil in a pan, and brown the omena balls until golden brown. In the same pan add onions and sauté until translucent, then add the rest of the garlic. Cook until it becomes fragrant

Add tomato purée plus a little black pepper, salt. Cook until the tomatoes are cooked.

Add coconut milk and cook for 2mins then add your omena balls. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add coriander and let it sit covered for 5 mins.

Serve with either rice or spaghetti.
