Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and let them crackle. add onion and saute until light pink in colour.add ginger and stir for few seconds.

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder,coriander powder,kashmiri red chilli powder and stir.

Add tomatoes and salt saute well.add little water and cook covered until tomatoes gets soft or until masala cooked well.(for 2 - 3 Mins.)

Meanwhile Cut potatoes into cubes.add potatoes and peas saute well and cook covered for 8 -10 mins on low flame.add little water while stirring in between.

Now add required water as per your need, cover with lid and cook for one whistle.

After releasing the pressure add garam masal and fresh coriander.mix well and serve with roti or with rice.
