Ingredients

  1. 2.5 tbspOats flour
  2. 2 tbspSoya flour
  3. 4 tbspMillet flour
  4. 3 tbspGram flour
  5. 4 tbspGrated beetroot
  6. 1.5 tbspChopped onion
  7. 1Chopped green chilli
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  10. 1/4 tspChaat masala
  11. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  12. 1/2 tspDried mango powder
  13. 1/4 tspAnaardana powder
  14. Freshly chopped coriander
  15. 1/8 tspMint powder
  16. Oil as per requirement
  17. Water for making batter
  18. For beetroot raita:
  19. 80 gmBeaten curd
  20. 1/2 upGrated beetroot
  21. Salt as per taste
  22. 1/4 tspWhite pepper powder
  23. Freshly chopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Take oats flour and soya flour in a bowl. Add millet flour and gram flour to it. Mix with the help of spoon.

    Add water little by little and set the consistency of the mixture. Add beetroot,onion and green chilli and salt to it. Mix and add fresh coriander also.Give it a nice mix.

    Lastly add all spices and mint powder. Mix well.

    Heat a non-stick tawa and drizzle some oil on it.Pour a ladleful of batter and spread evenly.

    Cook on medium flame for 5 minutes and flip.Cook for another 7-8 minutes from another side.

    Meanwhile prepare beetroot raita by adding grated beetroot to the beaten curd.Add some salt and white pepper to it.Garnish with chopped green coriander.

    Transfer in a serving plate.Serve with healthy beetroot raita and enjoy.Dont worry for little cracks in chilla because they are natural as all the flours used in recipe is gluten free.
