Ingredients

  1. 5-6Bread slices
  2. 2Eggs
  3. A small bunch, roughly choppedCoriander leaves
  4. A small bunch, roughly choppedMint leaves
  5. 1, roughly choppedOnion
  6. 2, roughly choppedGreen chilies
  7. As neededButter
  8. 2 tspMilk
  9. To tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a grinder, make a smooth paste of the chopped coriander, mint leaves, onion, and green chilies. Season with salt. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk and add it to the coriander-mint paste and mix well to form a smooth batter. Slice bread into 2 diagonal pieces. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Dip the bread pieces into the batter one by one and place it to the hot pan.

    Shallow fry until golden and crunchy, then flip to cook the other side. Serve warm as a savory breakfast or as a snack.
