Rinse the beef tongue with water and lemon.

Place it in an electric pot or slow cooker. Add the other ingredients and enough water to just cover the meat, no more.

Cook overnight on medium. Once done, remove the skin covering the tongue and slice the meat. Serve in tacos with your favorite salsa.
