Boil the milk till it become 750 litre,add rice and boil till rice is done.Add chopped nuts reserve few(optional)fr topping

Switch off the gas and then add the gur.If you add gur while the milk is boiling it might curddle so no cooking after you add the gur.So make sure you get right amount of thickness for your payasam as few people likes it little runny but i prefer my kheer to be little thick.So add gur when the kheer reach the right consistency.
