Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1/2 kgPotatoes
  2. 2Thinly sliced onions
  3. 3/4 tea spoonFennel seeds / Saunf
  4. 5Crushed Garlic pearls
  5. fewCurry leaves
  6. 1Green chilli slit
  7. 3 tbspOil
  8. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  9. 3/4 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala Powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoonMustard seeds

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Pressure cook the potatoes, peel off the skin, roughly cut them to pieces, keep aside.

  2. 2

    Heat a pan with oil. Do the seasoning with mustard, saunf and green chilli,

  3. 3

    Add the turmeric powder and onions.

  4. 4

    Fry till the onions are fried well.

  5. 5

    Now add the crushed garlic, chilli powder and salt. Mix well.

  6. 6

    Add the potato pieces. Mix well.

  7. 7

    Allow them to get fried in slow flame for 15 minutes. Finally add the garam masala powder. Stir well and switch off.
