This spicy potato curry is made in the chettinadu style of Tamilnadu. It is a very tasty and hot side dish to have with any sambhar rice, rasam rice and curd rice.

Steps

Pressure cook the potatoes, peel off the skin, roughly cut them to pieces, keep aside.

Heat a pan with oil. Do the seasoning with mustard, saunf and green chilli,

Add the turmeric powder and onions.

Fry till the onions are fried well.

Now add the crushed garlic, chilli powder and salt. Mix well.

Add the potato pieces. Mix well.

Allow them to get fried in slow flame for 15 minutes. Finally add the garam masala powder. Stir well and switch off.
