Drain the daal the next day and let it dry on napkin or towel for sometime.

Now heat oil in a non stick tawa.

Now shallow fry this drained moong dal and keep stirring on low to medium flame till it changes the colour.

Now sprinkle salt and black pepper powder.

Serve and enjoy with papadi or chips.
