An added advantage of this sweet is that it can be stored and preserved outside the refrigerator also.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsemolina
  2. 1 tbspflour
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1/2 cuppowdered milk
  5. 2 tbspliquid milk
  6. 1egg (optional)
  7. 1 tspbaking powder
  8. 1/2 tspvanilla essence
  9. Pinchpowdered mace-nutmeg-cardamom
  10. 2 tbsprefined oil
  11. 4 tbspghee

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except ghee and make a semi liquid batter.

  2. 2

    Heat a pan on a low flame.

  3. 3

    Add 2 tbsp ghee.

  4. 4

    Now add the batter.

  5. 5

    Cover the pan with airtight lid for about 8-10 mins.

  6. 6

    Prick it with a fork to check whether it is thick enough.

  7. 7

    Flip gently if it is thick.

  8. 8

    Sprinkle some ghee and again cover the pan with a lid for same time.

  9. 9

    Turn the gas off if both the sides are brown.

  10. 10

    Cool before serving.

  11. 11

    Cut it into any shape you like.
