Wash and soak rice and split pigeon peas for half hour.

In cooker pan heat clarified butter add cumin seed when splutter add curry leaves, peanuts saute for 2 minutes.

Add ginger chilli garlic paste, red chilli powder and turmeric powder mix well.

Now add onion, chopped potatoes saute for 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes and soak rice and spilt pigeon peas. Add salt, garam masala and 3 cups of hot water mix well. Now cover the lid and cook for 3 whistle.
