Ingredients

  • 6sunny side up eggs
  • 2 Tbspvegetable oil
  • 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 5 clovesshallots, thinly sliced
  • 3red chili peppers, diagonally sliced
  • 3green chili peppers, diagonally sliced
  • 3bird eye chilli peppers (optional)
  • 2medium tomatoes, cut into small wedges
  • 2green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1,5 Tbspoyster sauce
  • 5 Tbspsweet soy sauce
  • 1/2sdt salt or to taste
  • 1/4sdt white pepper powder or to taste
  • 150 mlwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the vegetable oil over medium high heat. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add red and green chili peppers, and bird eye chili peppers (if you use some).

  3. 3

    Season with oyster sauce, sweet soya sauce, salt and white pepper powder. Add water. Cook until boiling.

  4. 4

    Add tomato wedges. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Add sunny side up eggs. Slowly stir so that you will not break the egg yolks.

  6. 6

    Add sliced green onions. Remove from the heat.

  7. 7

    Serve with warm white rice! Yum! 😋
