Gambas al Ajillo

At home, we're big fans of gambas al ajillo, especially my husband. Since it had been a while since I last made them, tonight I decided to treat him. They're quick to make and perfect for dipping bread.

Steps
- 1
Once the shrimp are thawed, drain them well and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess water.
- 2
Cover the bottom of a skillet with olive oil and heat it up. Meanwhile, slice the chili pepper and garlic. When the oil is hot, fry the garlic and chili until the garlic is golden brown.
- 3
When the garlic is golden, add the shrimp and season with salt to taste.
- 4
Stir occasionally, and when the shrimp turn pink-orange, add the parsley.
- 5
Give everything a couple more stirs and serve very hot with plenty of bread for dipping.
