This is my grandmothers traditional recipe, I have tweaked it a little by adding a few of my favourite spices, since we are Punjabis ,chicken is an important part of our food table, do give this recipe a try I'm sure you will impress your loved ones.

Thinly slice the chicken breast, then add salt to it.

Then add black pepper, garlic and fresh cream, give it a good mix.

Then add tikka masala, peri peri masala and mix well, then marinade the chicken for 3-4 hours in the fridge.

After 4 hours remove the chicken from the fridge, then place a bowl in the centre of the chicken pieces, place a piece of hot live charcoal inside the bowl add a dollop of ghee or butter and immediately cover the plate with a vessel and smoke the chicken for 5-8minutes.

Then take wooden skewers, arrange the smoked chicken breast on them and grill them using ghee for 4-5minutes, the chicken will cook quickly because the slices are thin, make sure not to over cook it, otherwise it will turn chewy.

Drizzle some sour cream on chicken skewers, and serve them with onion rings and salad.
