Wash kolam rice and soak for 20 minutes. Put one pan on flame add 2 tablespoon oil add Jeera and finely chopped onion fry till onion turned pink now add ginger garlic paste and green chilli paste roast till raw smell disappears now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dry coriander and cumin powder, add green peas and small pieces of carrot saute all the vegetables now add tomatoes mix all properly.

Now add soaked kolam rice and 4 Cups of water add salt mix, cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes on medium flame. When water remains little turn the flame very slow and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. This quick peas pulav is ready now.

Serve with salad or raita.
