Jalebi is one of the most favourite sweet dish , it is famous as a street food specially for breakfast , a lovely combination with poha in Madhya Pradesh , in gujarat with fafda . I have made these with paneer , it has come out very nice
Steps

Gather plain four, water and an empty bowl at one place

Now put the plain flour in the empty bowl

Mix them with a spoon
- 5
Mix it nicely into a lump free smooth paste
- 6
The paste should be medium thick in consistency
- 7
Cover the bowl and keep it for half an hour
- 8
In the meantime make sugar syrup of one string consistency, for this boil sugar and water on low heat, add lemon juice so that the impurities of sugar is removed and there is no crystalization of sugar. Add saffron strands also and cook until one string consistency, the sugar syrup is ready
- 9
Now take 1 cup of crumbled paneer
- 10
Now put this crumbled paneer in a plate

Now mix the paneer with your palm very nicely for at least 5 minutes into a very smooth mixture
- 12
Now place the smooth paneer mixture, the flour mixture and turmeric powder at one place
- 13
Now add the flour mixture to the paneer mixture

Now start making jalebis in the hot oil, in circular motion, giving it the shape of a jalebi
- 19
Make few jalebis at one time so as to maintain the oil temperature
- 20
Fry them on low heat, by turning them at regular intervals, until becomes light brown
- 21
When they are fried take them out on an absorbant paper
- 22
Now put them in the warm syrup and let them there for a minute
