Separate the petals from the rose.

Wash it with Lukewarm water.

Drain out the water with the help of sieve.

Wrap it up in a cotton cloth.

Then wrap up the cloth in a newspaper so that the leftover water is soaked and leave for 5 minutes.

Take a glass jar then setup one layer of rose then one layer of sugar, repeat the same process. Make sure that the top layer is of sugar.

Keep the jar in sunlight for 8-10 days.
