Marinate the mutton with salt, ginger garlic paste,curd oil and red chilli powder.

Boil water and prepare the rice,just par boil it adding salt and whole garam masala.

Now strain the water away and keep aside.

Heat oil and temper cumin seeds and bay leaf.

Add onion chopped and ginger garlic paste,saute adding turmeric and salt.

Add mutton and saute until it is soft.

Add cumin powder and red chilli powder and add potatoes.

Cover and cook until the mutton is fully cooked.

Now take a heavy bottomed pan and first spread a portion of rice.

Now arrange mutton and potatoes and sprinkle milk biryani masala powder and ghee

Cover with rice,spread rest of the Biryani masala and milk.

Sprinkle ghee and cover with a lid.

Cook on low heat for 25 minutes and serve it hot with raita.
