1/2 tspsalt

Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan

Add chopped onions, water,tomatoes,salt

Bring to a simmer.cook uncovered for about 20 mins.

Stir occasionally and add additional salt as needed.

Blend the soup and then season to taste.Serve with bread
