Ingredients

  • 1bowl Yellow dal (Dhoti dal)
  • 2 glasswater
  • 2chopped onion
  • 2chopped tomato
  • 1/2 tbspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbspoon garlic paste
  • according to tastesalt
  • 1 pinchred chilli powder
  • 1 pinchblack pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbspoon jeera / cumin
  • 1/2 tbspoon garam masala
  • as neededoil for fried
  • 1/2 tbspoon turmeric powder
  • 1chopped green chilli
  • as requiredcoriander leaves
  • 1 sprigkadi patta / curry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a cooker and put into water and dal and turmeric powder and cover cooker with a lid.and boil it.

  2. 2

    When the whistle is ready off the flame.

  3. 3

    Other side take a pan put into oil and heat it sim the flame.

  4. 4

    After that put into ginger, garlic paste.after 1 min put into jeera,green chilli and cook it 1 min.

  5. 5

    After that put into tomato and heat it and after that put into onion and heat it..

  6. 6

    Put into salt,turmeric powder, black peper powder,garam masala,kadi patta and mix it properly.

  7. 7

    When the masala is ready open the cooker and mix dal into masala and mix well...

  8. 8

    After 2 min off the flame and serve dal with coriander leaves
