Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 cupyellow lentils
  2. 2small potatoes, diced
  3. 2carrots, chopped
  4. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  5. Cumin to taste
  6. 1small onion, quartered
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1bouillon cube
  9. Pinchsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients except cumin and salt. Add water for boiling and a pinch of sugar.

  2. 2

    Once cooked, blend the mixture and return to the heat. Add salt and cumin, and simmer briefly.

  3. 3

    You can add cream before serving. I prefer to add croutons and a squeeze of lemon.
