No oil dal tadka

Tried making healthy dal tadka came out Superrr #Myhealthykitchen
Steps

Wash and soak the dal for 10 minutes

Pressure cook the dal with 1 glass water, little salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric for 2 whistle till the dal is cooked well

Make a liquid by adding all masala powders except garam masala in 1 /4 cup water and keep aside

In a pan roast cumin, bay leaf, cloves and red chilli till aroma releases

Add onion and garlic cook for 30 seconds
- 6
Now add 1/3 cup water and cook for 4 -5 minutes

Now add the masala water cook for 3 minutes

Add tomatoes and green chilli and add 1/4 cup water, pinch of salt and keep mashing the tomatoes with the help of spatula

Cook the dal tadka masala for 2 minutes

Now add in the toor dal add salt if needed adjust consistency with water if required

Simmer dal for 6 minutes on a very low flame. Add coriander

Serve dal hot with roti and rice
