Seive together all the dry ingredients

In step two, mix 1/2 cup vegetable oil + 1/2 cup hot water. Mix well. Let them cool a bit.

In step three, to the oil mixture add 1/2 cup cold milk + 1 tsp vanilla essence + 2 tbsp curd.

Now gradually mix the wet ingredients into dry ingredients.. Don't over mix
Pour the batter into greased baking tin.. You can bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 min. I baked it in a kadai (kadai me salt daal kar red hot kiya, put a stand in it, put the baking tin.. Cover it with a lid and let it bake for 30-35 minutes). Do the toothpick test - 5
Let the cake cool.. Decorate the way you like

I just spread chocolate spread, dusted icing sugar, decorated with glazed cherries and tied satin ribbon
