Steps

Rinse rice to remove starch and pat dry

Heat oil in a sufuria, when the oil is hot add rice and stir gently to coat the rice with oil

Add water and salt,bring to boil
- 4
Turn the heat down and simmer with lid for 12 mins
- 5
Turn the heat off and leave for further 12 mins
- 6
Do not remove the lid during this stages
- 7
Remove from heat and serve
