For this recipe, since we already incorporating oil in the recipe, I find it best not to use too much oil if any when frying. Saves the pancake from being soggy.

For this recipe, since we already incorporating oil in the recipe, I find it best not to use too much oil if any when frying. Saves the pancake from being soggy.

In a small bowl, crack open and beat the eggs until fluffy.

In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt
- 3
To the flour mixture add milk, water, chocolate essence, vanilla essence and the eggs.

Give it a good mix preferably with a whisk until nice and smooth.

Fry on low heat. Using little or no oil (you can use a non stick without oil or just a little to grease the pan to prevent from sticking if using normal pan.)

Drizzle some maple syrup or honey or coat with some icing sugar and enjoy with your favorite drink.
