Name: Lentil Soup
Ingredients: 2 cups split red lentils (about 400 grams); 6 cups water (about 1.4 liters); 2 chicken bouillon cubes; Salt to taste; 1/2 teaspoon turmeric; 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin; 4 tablespoons vegetable oil; 3 medium onions, chopped

Combine all the ingredients in a pot and cook over low heat until the lentils are tender, then blend the soup until smooth.

Alternatively, you can use a pressure cooker for about 20 minutes, then blend the soup.
