Zafferano milanese Saffron rise
This is a typical dish from Milan it tastes great on its own or sometimes has sausage added to it both ways are nice

Start to boil your water add the vegetable stock once it starts to boil. In another pan add your butter and onion let cook for 2 minutes,then add the rise stir all together

Take your pan of boiling water off the heat and ladle a couple scoops into your other pan. Let it cook until reduced stiring as it goes Also place Saffron into a glass and pour your vegetable water into it put aside for later.

Continue step 2 until you have used all the water and keep stiring add your Saffron at the last step stir well until rise is all yellow

Stir until reduces to a consistency your happy with also add the parmigiano cheese at this point let cool off for 5 minutes and serve when ready.
