Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgpotatoes
  • 1/2 kgfloury sweet potatoes
  • 3 cupsboiled githeri
  • 2 handfulpumpkin leaves or your choice of greens
  • Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the potatoes and clean. Place them in a pot with salted water and bring to a boil.Till fork tender

    Blanch your pumpkin leaves let them cool then blend

    Add the boiled githeri to the potatoes and heat up for about 5 mins. Drain the excess water,add the blend greens and mash till no lumps

    Serve and enjoy with stew.
