Wash and soak udad dal for 4 to 6 hours

Grind the dal into a thick paste

Add 1/2 tsp salt and mix it until it is fluffy. At this point dal will change the colour means more whitish

Now take some portion and fry it medium heat.

Other side in a big vessel put lukewarm water with 1 tsp salt.

After frying the Vadas put into that hot water

After half an hour take Vadas and squeeze it very well and placed it in the plate

Now pour dahi /yoghurt on the top of the vadas. Then add some green chutney and imli chutney from the top. Sprinkle roasted jeera Powder, lal mirch powder and black salt
