Ingredients

  1. 1 cupchana dal
  2. 2 cupsraw rice
  3. 1 "Ginger
  4. handfulChopped coriander leaves
  5. 1Chopped onion
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. as requiredOil for frying
  8. to tasteRed chilli powder
  9. pinchTurmeric powder
  10. 2Garlic cloves
  11. 1Green chillies

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak dal and rice for 4-5 hours.

  2. 2

    Drain out water thoroughly.

  3. 3

    Now grind to fine paste adding salt, turmeric, garlic, ginger, green chillies.

    Add water if required.

  5. 5

    Now add chopped coriander leaves and chopped onions.

  6. 6

    Heat oil in kadhai.

  7. 7

    Meanwhile mix the batter thoroughly,batter will not he runny.

  8. 8

    Once oil is heated pour a ladle full of batte

  9. 9

    Don't spread the batter.

  10. 10

    When cooked from one side and fli

  11. 11

    Take out when turned golden colou

  12. 12

    Serve hot with aloo sabji or curd or chutney or pickle.
